Read and record 15 books? No problem - our class is full of readers! We were thrilled to sign two race cars and earn trophies for all of our reading!

Plant Investigations

We have been learning about plants! At Four Winds, Dana helped us dissect flowers. Then we had to see if we could reassemble their parts! We've learned about seeds traveling, root growth, the parts of a flower, and what a plant needs. Ask your scientist for all of the details about our plant explorations!

We've been learning a lot about erosion! You've probably seen and heard some of the cool things we're doing on Seesaw, but did you know we made canyons? Ask your second grader for details on how a canyon is formed!

Chicken Whisperers

Have you heard the news? We've been signing up to take care of the chickens at TBPS! We've been making sure they have water, we've fed them, and we've collected eggs. After our hard work, we get some time to hold and pet the chickens!

We're going out in small(ish) groups so not everyone has gone out yet, but don't worry! We'll all get a turn - those chickens lay plenty of eggs for all of us to collect! More pictures to come!!
