Light and Sound

We have been exploring with light and sound. We've learned about vibrations, how to make sound, and how to change sound. We've learned about light traveling and sorted things that are transparent, translucent, and opaque. We've also investigated communication with light and sound. Ask your scientist for more details on their explorations!

Making Stories Come to Life

We had Art Enrichment last week! Ms. Monley helped us learn how to bring our stories to life by making our illustrations more detailed. 

First we practiced giving our characters different expressions to show how they were feeling and what they were thinking.

Then we revised our illustrations in our stories to make them even more detailed. We added so many details - we made our characters have expressions, added backgrounds, colors, and movement. Check out these before and afters!
